Karine Hains: Game 18: Canadiens vs Blue Jackets AKA Thank You Carey This summer the Blue Jackets lost pretty much all of their cannons (well aside from the real one at the Nationwide Arena) but what's left was enough to challenge the Habs tonight. Without Carey Price, this game could have been over in the first period.

when you need Price to steal the game againts LAK and CLB... you know something is not working up front.
not really impressive hockey by the Habs since the win in Vegas 2 weeks ago.

but a win is a win. it's not how it's how many.

My friends say the same thing about prostitution.

Changing the subject, I hear about 15 cm of snow in Montreal and -20 degree today? Soooo jealous

Meaning I should succumb to the easiness of paying for sex instead of trying to seduce my way into it.

not sure if "great" applies to how they played last night, but it's a win!

I thought it was great.

You could tell the guys were getting frustrated not scoring and not getting the needed bounce to tie up the game.

But they never gave up.

Even after that crotch breaking Werenski goal with 1 minute and a half left.

They didn't give up.

Mete played one hell of game. That backcheck in OT (after causing a turnover missing the net sure) was incredible despite taking a penalty.

And Carey sealed the deal, like the mother (frank)ing best that he is.

I loved it.

I thought they worked hard, but they had very few good scoring chances. all shots from far away and from the outside. even the Gallagher goal was not a scoring chance. they need to be MUCH better. that was CLB, not WASH

good points. And CLB did manage to shut down the centre of the ice for huge parts of the game, so kudos to the habs for pulling it together
